A collaboration between leading house producers Seuil and Le Loup, the Hold Youth imprint formed when the two discovered their mutual appreciation for a melange of music and a shared eclectic vision. Drawing inspiration from the old skool pioneers – J Dilla, Moodymann, Theo Parrish, Pépé Bradock – the open-minded, vinyl-only label encompasses house, disco, techno, hip-hop and everything in between, their debut LP ‘De La Club’ being the perfect specimen. With an aim to uncover homegrown talent, Hold Youth is working with artists like Douze and S3A, to name but a few, making music for DJscollectors and true music lovers.

Outside of the studio, Seuil and Le Loup have carried the Hold Youth ethos into a DJing partnership, opening up the ears of ravers in the likes of fabric LondonFuse Brussels and the underground heads’ favourite party Half Baked. Landing a residency at Paris’ infamous Rex Club, the duo’s special guests reflect the Hold Youth spirit, so far including Cezar, Marc Schneider, Kyle Hall (as well as Soundstream, San Proper and Motor City Drum Ensemble in their previous home, Social Club). With such calibre of support on board, this is think outside-the-box club music.
